Horizon Technologies to Introduce New Xpod Plug and Play SIGINT System at the Hercules Operators Conference in Atlanta 16-19 October, 2017

Horizon Technologies’ transformational Xtender technology (pat pending) is allowing further innovative airborne SIGINT solutions.

According to Horizon Technologies Director, John Beckner, “Customer response to Xtender has been overwhelming and customers are continuing to find new ways to utilize this technology. Together with our partner, Mace Aviation (www.maceaviation.com), we are proud to launch our Xpod series of plug and play ISR/SIGINT systems.”

The Xpod is available in two sizes and allows operators to have a comprehensive ISR/SIGINT package which attaches to any aircraft hardpoint.  The FlyingFish™ is the heart of the Xpod and can either be installed in the aircraft or controlled remotely from the ground via datalink.  All Xpods contain FlyingFish™ capability via Xtender, an EO/IR system, AIS, and a datalink.  At the request of some of our customers, we are now working to include options for other ISR sensors.

With the addition of Horizon Technologies’ Xpod, almost any transport aircraft can become a powerful ISR asset within a very short time.  As our customers say, “If It’s Worth a Mission, It’s Worth a FlyingFish™.”
